This World Is Not For Burning is collection of dark and surreal short stories and is something of an outlier in terms of my comics. The stories come from a period when I would always carry a little pocket-sized Moleskine sketchbook with me, and I would make up little stories in comics form when I had the chance, in the few minutes before I had to start work, during my lunch break or while waiting for the bus. The stories that came out of it were looser, darker and more raw than anything I had done before. I chose my favorites to include in the collection, which was published by Swimmers Group out of Toronto. It is currently out of print.
